I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Additionally, I have 18+ years experience as a Clinical Therapist, Police Officer, Correctional Officer, Child Protection Worker, and Bylaw Enforcement Officer. As a client-centered therapist working with adults, children (12+), couples, and families, I use an integrative approach offering services that are evidence-based and draw from multiple theoretical orientations and techniques to meet your unique needs; including, but not limited to, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and trauma informed skills. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I want to work collaboratively with you and empower you to reach your full potential. I also want to support you in creating your own path toward self-discovery and healing. In therapy, I focus primarily on emotional dysregulation, stress and burnout, self-esteem, trauma, cognitive distortions, family conflict, life transitions and challenges, and relationship / work / social difficulties.
